You’ve gotta have heart

Help us honor the work of the Smith Center for Healing and the Arts with your hearts. Looped will donate $5 for every knit or crochet heart you drop off between now and February 13. We'll deliver your hearts and our check to the Smith Center on Valentine's Day. The Smith Center is a nonprofit cancer support center. Visit them at 1632 U Street, NW. You can learn more about their programs and services at www.smithcenter.org.

Scrunchy Cowl

The Scrunchy Cowl pattern is brought to you by one of our regulars--Astrid Schmidt-Nielsen. We used two skeins of the Frog Tree Chunky Alpaca. This yarn is so soft and squishy and works nicely with the cables that weave throughout. You can easily knit this cowl up in a few nights and wear it immediately. Total instant gratification! Not to mention, alpaca can be a good choice for the people in your life that are wool sensitive. Scrunchy Cowl is a free pattern on Ravelry and you will get the Frog Tree Chunky Alpaca at 15% for this month.
