Sunday Shawl

For September, we chose a folksy crochet shawl made in a DK weight yarn. The Sunday Shawl is super cute and can be made as big as you would like. Pick your base color and then have fun picking all the bright pops for your borders. It's a project for the advanced beginner. Know your basic crochet and would love to make this? Well we have a class this month to coincide. Check out our class calendar for details. Oh, and the yarn we chose to make it in is Kenzie by HiKoo yarns. It's a 50% wool, 25% nylon, 10% angora and 10% alpaca. Kenzie comes in great colors and we are offering it to you at 15% off with purchase of the pattern.

Brickless

This month we chose a light shawlette that is perfect to knit during the last hurrahs of summer and to wear come fall. Brickless by Martina Behm is an asymmetrical triangle with rows that get longer and longer as you go. The beauty of it is that you can keep knitting until you run out of yarn or it's as big as you want. Originally written for worsted, we decided to lighten it up a bit by using a sport weight yarn--Spincycle Yarns Dyed in the Wool. It's 100% American Wool and superwash! This month, with purchase of the pattern, Dyed in the Wool will be 15% off. Come check out this great yarn!
