April 3 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Dazzled by all those brioche shawl and sweater patterns, but can’t make heads or tails of this unusual stitch? Join Stephanie for an intro class to master the brioche stitch in one color—though we’ll talk about using two! For this class, we will be knitting Ysolda Teague’s Radost cowl pattern, available on Ravelry, which provides ample practice with basic one-color brioche as well as brioche increases.
Materials to bring:
- 275 yards of aran or heavy worsted weight yarn
- 6mm (US 10) and 7mm needles (sometimes known as 10.75)
Please come to class having worked rounds 1-35 (garter stitch). Note: the cast-on for this pattern is a bit advanced, but if you don’t feel confident working it, a long-tail cast-on will work just fine!
