How to Crochet a Granny Square

Have you been eyeing a pattern that uses granny squares for a blanket, pillow or cardigan? In this class you will learn center out crochet–beginning with magic ring, how to increase and change colors.

Skills Required: Please be familiar with chain stitch, single crochet and double crochet.

Materials to bring from home or purchase:

• DK or worsted weight yarn (scraps are great!)
• Size G or H crochet hook (or size recommended for your yarn choice)
• Stitch markers: locking, open round or paperclip style
