Learn to Brioche

Finally learn how to do the fun and impressive brioche stitch. Join guest instructor and knitwear designer, Jill from Knit Sisu, as she teaches the basics of the two-color brioche stitch. You will learn how to brioche knit and brioche purl in the round, as well as receive a free pattern for the Ediz Cowl.

Skills required: You need to know how to cast on and knit and purl in the round comfortably.

Materials to purchase or bring from home:

• Two colors of worsted weight yarn–at least 150 yards of each color
• Size 8 US 16″ or 24″ circular needle. If you bring the 24″, you can cast on the cowl in class. If you’d rather cast on fewer stitches to learn, the 16″ will be a good option.
• Stitch marker
